SportsMed Update is a service that has been designed by clinicians for clinicians and has been successfully conducted over 10 years. It is offered in an electronic format to you.

The key elements of the service that is provided is as follows:

1. a team regularly surveys the sports medicine literature (over 60 journals are scanned regularly)
2. original research articles that are of specific interest to sports and exercise medicine professionals are identified
3. the quality and clinical interest of each article is evaluated and rated using Evidence Based Medicine criteria
4. an interprative summary of each article is presented in a standardised format (one page) utilising graphics where appropriate
5. the main clinical practice point is extracted from the article
6. summaries are complied in a weekly publication format (approximately one summary per working day)
7. the weekly publication is sent to you, the busy clinician, by electronic mail
8. quality is assured by a panel of well-known international experienced clinicians and scientists with links to reputable academic institutions
9. for suscribers it is possible to access, retrieve and print summaries from the full database of SportsMed Update using a personalized username and password

You can start to receive this service within 7 days by entering your information details in the application form and completing the payment form.
